Happy 8th Birthday Faither-girl!
We had the joy of celebrating our oldest daughter’s 8th birthday this weekend. She wanted to have a sleep over with some friends so we decided to have a “Night Owl” slumber party. Here’s a glimpse of all the fun!

My favorite 8-year-old in the world!
Now this was fun! I found a recipe for a graham cracker cake and thought it would be fun to make it a “S’mores” cake. We frosted it with chocolate fudge frosting and covered it with marshmallows… but the best part was roasting them with a torch!

The girls also had so much fun making these little owl hair clips…
…and tissue paper lanterns. 
They were ALL such little sweet hearts. Girls are so much fun. I love the whole tent idea. You did such a great job!!!
